Our Locations
Pursuing a naval analogy, our "flag-ship" is 1016 Madison Avenue (between 78th and 79th Sts.), New York City; we've occupied this space since 1997. Before us, this 1903 beaux-arts townhouse was home to the Perls Gallery (Dolly and Klaus Perls), which represented, among others, Picasso, Braque and Calder. Alexander Calder designed the black-and-white sidewalk that spans our building and those that flank it. This location houses the entirety of our book inventory, the vast majority of our watercolors and also deals in prints and maps.

Our original New York gallery at 29 E. 72nd St. (Madison Ave.) is open 11-5 Monday-Saturday. It contains some material (prints and maps) from our holdings as well as furniture. We enjoy collaborating with dealers in other fields and encourage interested colleagues to e-mail Ms. Alexandra Scarangella to discuss rates.
In Philadelphia, Arader occupies the former Sesslers Bookshop at 1308 Walnut St. This location deals in prints, maps and watercolors.
In King of Prussia, Arader operates principally from "Ballygomingo" at 1000 Boxwood Ct. George Washington used the house as his headquarters en route to Valley Forge in 1777. Its garden was laid out by John Bartram.
At 608 Shoemaker Rd., we have an extensive framing operation, which uses archival materials and Museum Glass to display and preserve our material. We frame the art our clients purchase but will also take in material purchased elsewhere.
In Saint Helena (Napa Valley), Arader occupies 1380 Main St. This location deals in prints and maps.
